MY PHILOSOPHY ON LEARNING

I continue to have a mindset of developing multiple skills rather than specializing in one certain area. I’ve learned that being open-minded to multiple disciplines can strengthen a skill set that helps you adapt to multiple scenarios, especially working in corporate environments. Learning, being adaptable, and having grit are all skills that I’ve learned, developed, and applied in and out of academia.

What I value most in education is the emphasis on learning while doing. This approach not only challenged me to think critically, but also to understand how to apply in-class knowledge to real projects. This way, there is always something visible that I can work on to improve and work towards as a professional.

Academics have always been a passion of mine. I continue to have a mindset of developing multiple skills rather than specializing in one certain area.
